How do you maintain a SUNDEK surface?
Our clients are often surprised that maintaining our decorative coatings is easy. The key to easier maintenance is having a sealer applied after your coating is complete. Our high-quality sealers protect your surface from things like oil spills, chlorine damage, UV rays, and more.
General maintenance includes removing dirt and other debris from the surface every few days or so. You can use a broom, blower, hose, or pressure washer. For tougher stains, a non-abrasive commercial cleaner works well.
With proper prep, the right overlay and sealer, and routine upkeep, resurfaced concrete holds up well over time. Our coatings resist wear from foot and vehicle traffic, abrasion, UV exposure, weather, and stains. Many SUNDEK installations still look good 10 to 20+ years later.
